WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - An inmate who went missing from a minimum-security prison in Bismarck more than two months ago has been arrested in Williston.

Thirty-nine-year-old Ernesto Difabio left the Missouri River Correctional Center on June 14. Authorities say he was found hiding in the basement of a Williston home on Tuesday and taken into custody.

Police also arrested the woman who owned the home on a charge of hindering law enforcement.

Difabio had been serving a five-year sentence on convictions for burglary and theft in the Williston area when he went missing.
