LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a Litchfield Park man they say stabbed his brother with a carving knife, leaving him severely injured.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were searching Friday morning for 19-year-old Antonio Alejandro Quintero.

The office says Quintero started a fight with his brother at their home around 3 a.m.

That is when Quintero allegedly grabbed a knife with a 10-inch blade and stabbed the victim in the stomach and forehead.

Deputies say Quintero fled the home on foot before deputies arrived.

The suspect’s brother is listed at a hospital in stable condition.

Deputies recovered the knife.

Quintero is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-9, and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, khaki shorts and a black baseball cap.
