WEST FORK, Ark. (AP) - A fire has damaged the cafe and store in a historic building at Devil’s Den State Park in northwest Arkansas.

There were no injuries as a result of Thursday’s fire, but officials say there is severe interior damage - especially in the kitchen area where the fire started. The cause of the blaze has not been determined.

The building is about 80 years old and part of the park built during the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The area is a National Historic District.

Park Superintendent Monte Fuller told the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1UjWbix ) that he hopes to rebuild the interior close to its original design.

Camping, hiking and paddle-boating at the park aren’t affected and supplies sold at the store can be purchased at the park’s visitor center.
