HOUSTON (AP) - A convicted felon from Houston must serve more than two years in prison for illegally having guns and posting photos of himself online with the weapons.

Frederick Remon Robinson was sentenced Friday to 30 months behind bars.

The 46-year-old Robinson was arrested in April on charges of unlawfully possessing a firearm. He pleaded guilty to the count in June.

Robinson served time in the 1990s for Harris County drug convictions. Prosecutors in Houston say Robinson posted messages on Twitter and other social media sites showing him with firearms. He also allegedly made threatening remarks about shooting people and using firebombs against his foes.

Robinson also demonstrated how to load guns in videos he posted online.
