DEXTER, Maine (AP) - A small plane has crashed in the central Maine town of Dexter.

The fire chief tells WABI-TV (https://bit.ly/1KTKABN) that the two occupants - a man and a woman - were able to get out the plane after the crash and were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A hazardous material crew was on the scene to deal with fuel that leaked out the plane.

There’s no word yet on what caused the crash.
