NEWCASTLE, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a man is being sought as a person of interest in the death of a woman who was found in a motel room in Newcastle.

The OSBI says the woman’s body was found Friday by motel management and that her identity has not been confirmed. The agency says the woman’s body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of her death.

The OSBI says a person of interest in the case is described as a native American about 50-years-old with dark hair and dark eyes. The agency says the man is about 5-feet-11 inches tall and 185 pounds.
