SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - A suspected food poisoning outbreak at a wedding reception has sickened more than 30 people in central New York.

The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports (https://bit.ly/1VXsPtO ) the people fell ill at Arrowhead Lodge in Brewerton on Friday night.

Onondaga County Deputy Executive Ann Rooney says the county and state health departments are investigating, but haven’t confirmed if food poisoning caused the illnesses.

Rooney says about 35 people got sick and ambulances took nine of them to hospitals. All of the patients have since been treated and released.

The county health department interviewed 70 of 100 people who attended the event.

Rooney wouldn’t identify the food vendor because the cause of the outbreak hasn’t been confirmed.
