OCEONTA, Ala. (AP) - One cyclist was killed and two others were injured after being stuck by a pickup truck in north Alabama.

Local media outlets say 57-year-old William Robertson of Birmingham was killed Saturday while cycling after he was struck by a 2002 Ford Ranger driven by 33-year-old Nathan Oliver Brown. The two other cyclists, 52-year-old Demetrius White and 52-year-old Tracey White, were taken to UAB Hospital.

The conditions of the two injured cyclists of Center Point have not been made known yet.

Blount County Coroner John Mark Vaughn says Robertson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not said the cause of the crash.

The three cyclists were members of a fitness group called Black People Run Bike and Swim.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is still investigating the matter.
