DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover police say five people were injured in a car wreck, including three children.

Police say a motorcyclist, who was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic, crashed into a Chevrolet around 3 p.m. on Saturday on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Route 13 in Dover.

Police say the motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the hospital, where he is in critical condition.

The driver of the Chevrolet was treated for minor injuries, but her 12-year-old daughter who was in the front seat suffered multiple bone fractures and internal injuries. Two passengers in the backseat were also injured. A six-year-old received several bone fractures and a severe cut on his face, and is in critical condition. A three-year-old suffered minor injuries. The children all remain hospitalized.
