EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - The ex-girlfriend of a teen who fatally shot four classmates is seeking to block the release of some records related to the shooting at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

The Daily Herald says (https://is.gd/zMfOfF ) police reports and other documents were scheduled to be released Monday but the girl’s attorney filed a temporary restraining order in Snohomish County Superior Court.

Seattle attorney Thomas Ahearne says the 15-year-old girl would be harmed if text messages she exchanged with Jaylen Fryberg and others, as well as identifying information, are made public.

Fryberg shot and killed four friends and wounded another last October after inviting them to lunch in the school cafeteria. He also killed himself.

Judge Richard Okrent scheduled a hearing Thursday to consider whether the texts and other information should be redacted. He said the city of Everett is free to release other documents not in dispute.
