ELSMERE, Del. (AP) - Elsmere police say a man injured when his bicycle collided with another has died.

Chief Laura M. Giles tells the News Journal of Wilmington (https://delonline.us/1JKp469 ) that 69-year-old Phillip Morris of Wilmington died Sunday at Christiana Hospital, where he taken after Friday’s crash.

Giles says the accident occurred about 2 p.m. on Kirkwood Highway. She says another bicyclist was eastbound on the shoulder when he saw Morris coming toward him.

Giles say the other bicyclist stopped as Morris wobbled as he approached him, then Morris hit him.

Morris was thrown over his handlebars into the road.

Giles says no charges are being filed in the collision.
