OCALA, Fla. (AP) - Five north Florida deputies suspended after the beating of a suspect no longer work for the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Records show that Jesse Terrell was fired Monday. The other four - James Amidei, Trevor Fitzgerald, Adam Crawford and Cody Hoppel - resigned last month.

The Ocala Star-Banner (https://goo.gl/RxzcQT ) reports that two of the men - Amidei and Fitzgerald - accused of less active roles in the beating pleaded guilty last week to federal charges of deprivation of rights under color of law. They have also agreed to cooperate with prosecutors.

U.S. Attorney A. Lee Bentley III has not announced charges against the other three men.

All five deputies were suspended without pay when surveillance camera video of the August 2014 arrest surfaced.
