NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - Stormy weather in New Hampshire has led to some cancellations, including a National Night Out in Nashua.

Neighborhoods in various communities have participated in the event for years, designed to foster neighborhood cooperation and police-community partnerships.

Tuesday’s event scheduled in Nashua was canceled due to severe weather conditions. Ed Leicus, community policing coordinator, said he would discuss re-scheduling it.

A severe thunderstorm watch was in effect for much of New Hampshire through 8 p.m. Tuesday.

A severe storm Monday night knocked over a circus tent in Lancaster, killing two and injuring more than 30.
