POWELL, Wyo. (AP) - A woman who has been accused of causing a fatal crash in March has been charged with vehicular homicide.

The Powell Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1M9g78v ) that 76-year-old Beverly Keenan of Cowley appeared in court last week on the vehicular homicide charge and another misdemeanor count of failing to obey a stop sign. She has pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Keenan allegedly ran a stop sign and entered onto Highway 295 while she was speeding. She struck the rear driver’s side of a station wagon, killing 70-year-old Pat Miller of Powell.

Charging documents state that Keenan told authorities she had planned to turn left at the intersection but then began to “violently sneeze.”

Her trial has tentatively been set for Sept. 24.
