COOPER CITY, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say two children were hospitalized after suffering from heat exhaustion at a South Florida summer camp.

Broward County fire rescue officials say more than 150 kids were participating in a field day at Potential Church in Cooper City Wednesday when rescue crews were called.

Aside from the two children taken to the hospital, officials say four others were treated for bumps and bruises.

The Miami Herald (https://goo.gl/5jrDkT ) reports that the rest of the children were taken inside to cool down in the air conditioning.
