CINCINNATI (AP) - A drone was responsible for causing damage to a downtown Cincinnati skyscraper when it struck and broke a glass window that fell on top of the building’s parking garage.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports (https://cin.ci/1DsxEVT ) the drone struck a glass pane between the 28th and 29th floors on the north side of the Great American Tower on Tuesday afternoon.

Great American Tower spokesman Jose Marques says some shattered glass fell but no one was injured.

Recreational aircrafts and unmanned aerial vehicles are not permitted in the city’s downtown area, including airspace over the Ohio River, Great American Ball Park and Paul Brown Stadium.

The Cincinnati Police Department responded to the incident.

Drone use is also prohibited within five miles of Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and Lunken Airport.
