LAKE WORTH, Texas (AP) - A member of Lake Worth’s Planning and Zoning Commission has been charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14.

According to Lake Worth’s city manager and interim police chief Brett McGuire, 71-year-old Armin Glenn Ingram was arrested July 24 after a Lake Worth police detective investigated a report that a child was abused at a residence more than once in February 2013.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram (https://bit.ly/1P5OKu8 ) reports Ingram’s bail has been set at $200,000. It was not immediately clear if Ingram has an attorney.

According to McGuire, the City Council is set to consider whether to remove Ingram from the Planning and Zoning Commission at its Aug. 11 meeting.
