WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) - A Texas man is accused of using a vehicle and a gun to threaten people at a party in the North Dakota oil patch town of Watford City.

Authorities allege 43-year-old Waylon Palmore, of Kirbyville, Texas, pointed his pickup at a group of partiers across the street from his mobile home early Sunday and revved the engine.

The Williston Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1IXq0VX ) when one of the partiers blocked his truck with another vehicle, Palmore alleged pointed a handgun at the group.

Palmore faces a felony terrorizing charge with a maximum sentence of five years. Court documents don’t list an attorney for him. A listed telephone number couldn’t be found for him in Watford City, and listings in Texas are disconnected.

Palmore could enter a plea at a Sept. 10 hearing.
