NEW YORK (AP) - Police say two men have been arrested for a shooting that injured five people in Brooklyn, including a pregnant woman whose fetus died.

The New York Police Department says Wednesday that 19-year-olds Quamari McAllister and Marquise Frederick have been arrested on attempted murder, assault, weapons possession and other charges.

Police say several people were standing in front of an apartment building Monday night in Red Hook when Frederick got out of an SUV and fired several shots into the crowd.

Three women and two men were shot. Two of the victims were critically injured.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce tells The New York Times (https://nyti.ms/1gLpTk0) the shooting stemmed from “an ongoing dispute.”

It was not immediately clear whether the men had lawyers who could comment on the arrests.
