JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office say a body found during a search for a missing toddler has been identified as a U.S. Navy sailor missing since 2003.

The Florida Times-Union (https://bit.ly/1P68q12 ) reports the body of Yaroslav Victorovich Iventyev was found inside a car in a pond as authorities searched for missing 21-month-old Lonzie Barton.

The toddler was reported missing July 24. His mother’s boyfriend has since been arrested, but the child hasn’t been found. As law enforcement officers panned out across Jacksonville looking for him, they found the sailor’s car in the pond.

Iventyev was last seen at dinner with friends at a now-closed Russian restaurant just over a mile from the pond.

Foul play is not suspected.

Deputies found another body in the woods during the search for the boy.
