COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - U.S. Rep. James Clyburn is meeting South Carolina reporters to discuss issues of the day.

The Democratic congressman is hosting a media round table on Wednesday at his office in downtown Columbia.

Clyburn regularly holds the get-togethers to offer reporters an opportunity to ask him about a variety of topics.

For this session, Clyburn’s office says he also plans to speak specifically about the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.
