NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a collision between two cars in Queens has claimed the life of one of the drivers.

It happened on Wednesday in Queens Village at the intersection of Rockaway and International Airport Center boulevards.

Police say the drivers were alone in their vehicles when the crash occurred.

The driver of a Hyndai Elantra, 60-year-old Donald Angrum of Hempstead, Long Island, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The other driver, a 41-year-old man, was listed in stable condition.

The investigation into the crash is continuing.
