CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A lightning strike knocked out the power system in one of three city-owned garages in downtown Concord, New Hampshire - prompting officials to scale back its hours of operation.

WMUR reports (https://bit.ly/1MPpIjR ) that the lightning strike Tuesday night caused major damage to the electrical system at the Capital Commons parking garage.

Because the 510-space garage now has no lighting, officials say it will only be open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. until repairs can be made. It had been operating round the clock.

The garage is located between South Main and Storrs streets and serves the Capitol Center for the Arts and other area businesses.
