LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (AP) - Police say an upstate New York man has died after a truck topped with a camper pulled into the path of his motorcycle on an Adirondack road.

The Post-Star of Glens Falls reports (https://bit.ly/1SSSAwj ) Warren County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday reporting an accident on Lake Shore Drive in Lake George.

Police say 21-year-old Colin Jones of Fort Edward struck a camper driven by 67-year-old Laureat Labranche of Quebec, Canada, as he attempted to make a left turn onto a side road.

Jones collided with the passenger side of the truck. He was transported to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Labranche and his passenger weren’t injured. He was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way. No other charges are expected.
