DALLAS (AP) - Dallas police say no explosives were found after a bomb squad detonated a suspicious package left at police headquarters overnight.

The Dallas Morning News (https://bit.ly/1IYLbH7 ) reports investigators used a “disruptive device” on the package around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. The package was X-rayed and then detonated.

According to authorities, a woman dropped off what was described as a “gift bag” at police headquarters and left. Police said they are not sure who the woman is or why she left the package.

Roads around the police headquarters were reopened after the package was detonated, but police remained on the scene to investigate.
