COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Officials say 24 Chevrolet Impalas are among 150 surplus vehicles up for auction by the state.

The auction on Saturday in Columbus also includes a Cadillac Escalade, five Ford Escapes and two Dodge Chargers. All vehicles are sold as-is with no warranties and must be paid for in full on the day of the auction.

Surplus state property may be damaged or is at the end of its government use. It also may include items seized by law enforcement officials

The surplus property auctions allow the public to buy items at reduced prices and lets the state get back some of its initial investment.

State officials say miscellaneous property and vehicle auctions generated more than $3.5 million during fiscal year 2015.
