SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) - Two-time Olympic gold medal winner Edwin Moses is among the featured speakers at this weekend’s annual thoroughbred racing conference being held in Saratoga Springs by The Jockey Club.

The round table conference on matters pertaining to racing is being held Sunday for the 63rd time at the Gideon Putnam hotel. The annual event brings together leaders in the racing industry and others to discuss issues facing the sport.

Moses won gold in the hurdles at the 1976 and ‘84 Summer Games. He’s been chairman of the United States Anti-Doping Agency since 2012 and also serves as head of the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Education Committee.

Also speaking at the conference is Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear.

The Manhattan-based Jockey Club has held its conference in Saratoga Springs every year since 1954.
