OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Authorities have recovered the body of a juvenile boy from a car that was found mostly submerged in Lake Arcadia in northeastern Oklahoma City.

Police Capt. Paco Balderrama says the car was spotted Tuesday morning by an officer driving past the lake. It was not known how long the car had been in the lake and the name of the victim was not immediately released.

District Fire Chief Benny Fulkerson says firefighters were able to recover the body from the car that was about three-quarters submerged on the south end of the lake.
