LANCASTER, Calif. (AP) - A college in Los Angeles County is reopening after vague threats of violence closed it down for most of the day.

Antelope Valley College announced Tuesday evening that night classes would be held at its Lancaster and Palmdale facilities after sheriff’s investigators gave the all-clear.

Authorities say that overnight, vague threats to stay away from the community college were posted on social media and sent to some students. Daytime classes for thousands of students were cancelled.

Nobody has been arrested but an investigation continues.
