VASSAR TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a body has been found following an early-morning house fire in Tuscola County.

The Saginaw News reports (https://bit.ly/1N1kfmT ) crews responded around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday following a report of the fire in Vassar Township, about 70 miles northwest of Detroit.

The sheriff’s department says the house was engulfed in flames and firefighters found the body inside. The person’s name wasn’t immediately released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. An autopsy is planned to determine cause of death.
