WEST MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) - Police say a security officer at a Brevard County church is facing child pornography charges.

Florida Today reports (https://on.flatoday.com/1TgwpvT) 49-year-old Andrew Martin Leone was arrested Nov. 24 on 30 counts of possession of material depicting child sexual conduct, promotion of material depicting child sexual conduct and using a computer to seduce, solicit or lure a child.

Leone belonged to the security team at Calvary Chapel Melbourne and was listed as a ministry assistant.

Detective Jennifer Graves of the Palm Bay Police Department says church officials were notified by a family member and immediately contacted police to investigate.

Church spokeswoman Melody Glover says Leone has been fired.

Online records show Leone is being held on bond at the Brevard County Jail Complex. It isn’t clear if he has an attorney.
