MINOT, N.D. (AP) - The former superintendent and high school principal in Sawyer has pleaded not guilty to the latest sex crime charges against him.

Fifty-one-year-old Charles Soper is accused of sexually abusing three teenage boys, and faces a total of eight charges including human trafficking, gross sexual imposition and child pornography.

He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges. He could face life in prison without parole if convicted of the more serious allegations.

Soper resigned from the school after his arrest last May.

Judge Doug Mattson has barred anyone connected with the case from talking about it publicly.
