LOS ANGELES (AP) - A frost advisory has been issued for the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles - where temperatures are expected to climb into the low 70s later Tuesday.

The National Weather Service says at least two hours of temperatures between 32 and 35 are expected until 9 a.m., when the advisory expires.

The weather service says pets should be brought indoors and sensitive outdoor plants should be covered.

Forecasters say despite the frost advisory, Tuesday will be warmer than Monday.

Downtown Los Angeles, Woodland Hills, Pasadena and San Gabriel could see temperatures topping 70.
