TRINITY, Ala. (AP) - Investigators with the Alabama State Fire Marshal say a fire that killed a 66-year-old man was started intentionally.

The Decatur Daily (https://bit.ly/1NG3S4Z ) reports that the body of Azrel Stovall was discovered about two hours after firefighters arrived to find the home in flames. State Fire Marshal spokesman Steve Holmes declined to give more detail about the fire.

Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell says Stovall’s wife, 59-old-old Susie Stovall, was arrested at the scene on outstanding warrants.

Mitchell said she remains in the county jail but has not been charged in the fire.

Hillsboro Area Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jason Jones says sheriff’s deputies and Trinity police responded to a domestic call at the home about an hour before the fire was reported.

An autopsy of Azrel Stovall’s body is planned.
