TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Tuscaloosa police say they are searching for a 20-year-old man accused of shooting someone in the wrist during a confrontation over a burglary.

Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Capt. Gary Hood tells Al.com (https://bit.ly/1IAUQ1s ) that a 25-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his left wrist early Tuesday. Hood says the man told police that Facebook photos showed an acquaintance wearing clothing taken from his apartment during a recent burglary.

Hood says the 25-year-old ran into someone who he suspected of the burglary and confronted the person, who fired a gun during the argument.

Hood says police arrived around that time but the accused shooter fled, leaving the gun. Hood identified the man as Tyler Guyton and said he could face an assault charge.
