McALESTER, Okla. (AP) - McAlester police have one man in custody and are seeking two others - including one on a first-degree murder warrant - in the shooting death of another man on the city’s southeast side.

The McAlester News-Capital reports (https://bit.ly/1MVKbm0) that 29-year-old Christopher Blanton was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound to the head about 1 a.m. Tuesday by officers responding to reports of a gunshot.

Detective Sgt. Chris Morris said it appears the victim and the suspects were arguing about money before the shooting.

Police say one man was arrested at the scene on a complaint of accessory to murder. A second man is wanted for murder and the third man is wanted for questioning as a witness to the shooting.
