MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - Two suspects have been arresting in connection a stabbing attack in Medford after a standoff that lasted more than three hours.

The Mail Tribune reports (https://is.gd/YyNVNd ) that a 43-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man were subdued with stun guns on Monday and arrested.

Hours earlier, a man approached a police squad car saying he had just been stabbed during a confrontation with two people he knew. The victim was treated at a medical facility and released.

Police identified the suspects and went to their residence to arrest them. The suspects would not come out on their own, prompting the standoff with SWAT team officials.

Police are still investigating the stabbing.
