WASHINGTON (AP) - Metro says weekend work will affect all six of its rail lines.

Metro says starting Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through system closing on Sunday, orange, silver and blue line trains will run every 20 minutes. On the red line, trains will operate every 18 minutes.

On the yellow line, trains will operate from Huntington to Mt. Vernon square only. And on the green line, there will be single tracking between the Mt. Vernon Square and U Street stations. Yellow and green line trains are expected to operate at regular weekend intervals.
