PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (AP) - Crews continue to search the Waccamaw River in Georgetown County for a dock worker who fell in the water last week.

Multiple media outlets report that rescue workers near Pawleys Island continue their search for the man who fell in the river while working on a floating dock Nov. 23.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, Midway Fire and Rescue and the U.S. Coast Guard have had several boats in the water during the search.

Officials say the missing man is from Charleston County and is 53 years old. His name has not been released.

A second man working on the dock was rescued by a neighbor who heard their calls for help. The rescued man saw his co-workers waving and shouting before going under the water.
