BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - Police say a ski jump in Brattleboro was vandalized last week.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports (https://bit.ly/1Rjk6Au ) a vandal or vandals damaged several structures at the Harris Hill Ski Jump and painted graffiti on buildings sometime between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23.

Pat Howell, chairwoman of the board of trustees of Harris Hill, says electrical cables were yanked from the walls in two of the buildings.

It wasn’t immediately known how much the repairs will cost. Sandy Harris, who manages the hill’s facilities, says the organization has insurance to cover the damages, but isn’t sure if the costs will justify filing a claim.

Harris says the ski jump will still be ready for jumpers on the weekend of Feb. 20 and 21.
