HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a Hot Springs woman and a Bradford man have been killed in separate crashes.

A police report says 23-year-old Lacy Leann Miles died Monday after she lost control of the car she was driving in the rain on Highway 270 just east of Hot Springs. State police say the car crossed the center line of the wet roadway and was struck by a semi.

State police also say 26-year-old Kristopher Wright of Bradford was killed Monday when he was struck by a pickup truck while standing near his disabled vehicle on a rural road in Lee County. The police report says the driver of the pickup was attempting to drive around Wright’s vehicle when it struck the man. Police say it was raining at the time.
