TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A coalition of mayors in New Jersey is calling for a national boycott of all of Donald Trump’s golf courses and other assets.

The New Jersey Black Mayor’s Alliance for Social Justice, which includes 21 officials, announced its decision Friday in a statement.

The mayors say Trump’s call for a total shutdown of Muslims entering the country is unconstitutional and dangerous.

Mayor Frank Minor of Logan Township says the mayors reached the boycott decision after circulating the idea among members. He says a majority approved.

Trump’s campaign did not immediately reply to a message seeking comment.

Trump’s assets include Trump National Golf Course in Colts Neck as well as hotels and other real estate across the country and world.
