PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say inmates at a Phoenix jail had to be evacuated after a first-alarm fire.

Phoenix Fire Department officials say the cause of Friday evening’s fire isn’t immediately available.

They say inmates at the Lower Buckeye Jail were evacuated about 6:30 p.m.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
