NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Tickets for Bruce Springsteen’s 9-week U.S. tour sold fast in New Jersey.

The sale began at 10 a.m. EST Friday and they were sold out within minutes for the Jan. 31 concert at Newark’s Prudential Center, eclipsing Springsteen’s 2012 show at The Rock that sold out in two hours.

The Rock has started an alert list in case more tickets become available.

Those who missed out can shop secondary markets.

New York’s attorney general is looking into whether “speculative” ticket listings for Springsteen’s tour on ticket resale sites constitute deceptive advertising because they’re offering seats on secondary markets when the seller may not possess the tickets.

Springsteen’s River Tour with the E Street Band starts Jan. 16 in Pittsburgh.

The tour ends on March 17 on Los Angeles.
