OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A 19-year-old Omaha man has died from injuries he suffered last month in a west Omaha traffic crash.

The Omaha World-Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1SU7kXZ ) that JuWaun Gaines died Friday at an Omaha hospital.

Gaines suffered extensive injuries to his lungs and head in the Nov. 28 single-vehicle crash. Police say the crash happened when Gaines, who was driving northbound on Interstate 680, passed an exit and attempted to reach the exit by crossing a grass median, where he lost control.

Police say four passengers in the car were hurt. Police say none of the passengers - all teens - suffered life-threatening injuries.
