FORT PIERCE, Fla. (AP) - Two Florida sheriff’s deputies are facing charges in separate cases.

St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Deputy Richard Akeen Henry was arrested Friday in Broward County on three counts of sexual activity with a minor.

Jail records did not show whether Henry, 43, had an attorney.

In a statement emailed Saturday, Sheriff Ken Mascara says the FBI and the Broward Sheriff’s Office helped in the arrest. Henry also was placed on unpaid administrative leave. No additional information was released.

Meanwhile, north Florida prosecutors have charged Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy Russell Johnson with false imprisonment.

The Gainesville Sun reports (https://bit.ly/1QD6O17 ) that according to police, 46-year-old Deputy Russell Johnson handcuffed his girlfriend and restrained her legs in shackles during a Nov. 7 argument. Johnson was placed on administrative leave after a sworn complaint was filed several days later.
