GLASTONBURY, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut chamber of commerce is facing criticism after its annual fundraising calendar featured a young boy appearing to pose without a shirt or pants alongside nearly nude male real estate agents.

The Hartford Courant reports (https://cour.at/1mh8VfY) the nonprofit Family Institute of Connecticut took issue with the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce’s “Men of Glastonbury Chamber” calendar, complaining the chamber was “peddling pictures of a naked boy.”

The unnamed boy and four Coldwell Banker agents appeared on the calendar’s cover photo holding strategically placed signs while appearing to wear nothing but socks and sneakers.

The chamber’s executive director declined to comment, as did the ad’s agents. The photographer said the boy’s father was in the photo and the boy was wearing a bathing suit.

The photo is being replaced in future calendar printings.
