ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Prosecutors allege a 24-year-old man killed his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend and another man in St. Paul because he was angry about their breakup.

Jamaine Jamie Williams was charged Friday in Ramsey County with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

Williams is accused in the shooting deaths of the woman’s new boyfriend, 26-year-old Dominic Larrel Jasper of Blaine, and another man, 23-year-old Kavonta Lashawn Pratt. Another man was seriously injured.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press (https://bit.ly/1SUrTU3 ) reports the shooting happened just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul’s Uppertown neighborhood. Officers discovered the bodies of two men in a second-floor apartment.

Williams was arrested Thursday afternoon in Bloomington. He denied involvement in the shootings. Williams is in jail and will make his first court appearance Monday.
