ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Officials say a fire at the Annapolis Yacht Club has been put out.

The City of Annapolis’ Office of Emergency Management said on Twitter on Saturday evening that the fire had been extinguished.

Capt. John Bowes of the Annapolis Fire Department says the fire began around 2:15 p.m. and that some 90 firefighters helped fight the blaze. He says one firefighter was taken to the hospital with a minor injury; there were no reports of civilian injuries.

Photos from the scene showed fire coming out of the upper windows of the club and smoke rising as water was sprayed on the fire. Officials did not say how much damage the fire caused or what led to the fire.

Saturday evening’s “Parade of Lights” was canceled because of the fire.
