SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - A van carrying a boys basketball team and staff went off the road and rolled, causing injuries to the 11 on board but no fatalities.

Ronda Holwell of the Wyoming Department of Transportation tells Sheridan Media (https://bit.ly/1lYBZII ) that the crash occurred Friday night on Interstate 90 between Sheridan and Buffalo.

Holwell says the 15-passenger van was carrying nine students and two staff members from the Normative Services Inc. school in Sheridan. The private school provides education and treatment for troubled teens.

She says all the occupants suffered some type of injury but none were life threatening.

Holwell says the initial investigation finds that the driver of the van fell asleep, causing the vehicle to crash and roll one and a quarter times.
